Questions people ask before joining
Short answers about the community, the Academy and the free tools.
What is wingoaaal?
wingoaaal is a community site for football fans around the world — follow matches, share your thoughts, read football explainers in the Academy, and use free tools such as an interactive offside diagram and a league points calculator.
Is wingoaaal free?
Yes. The blog, the Academy, the free tools and the community channels are free to use. No purchase is necessary to take part in the daily quiz or the predictions round.
Do I need an account to use wingoaaal?
No. Reading, the free tools and the Academy work without an account. An account is only needed to keep progress, join the daily quiz leaderboard, or invite friends.
Which languages does wingoaaal support?
Eight: English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Turkish and Arabic. Arabic is served right-to-left, and every page declares its language to search engines.
What can I actually do here?
Three things. Follow the fixtures for the competitions you care about, read written pieces that try to explain what happened rather than shout about it, and use the free tools — a diagram you can drag and a calculator that answers “how many wins do we need”. The community channels are there if you would rather talk than read.
Is this a news site?
No. Scores and standings update, but the writing is not a wire feed — it is a small number of pieces per week that try to add something. If you want minute-by-minute coverage, a dedicated outlet will always be faster. If you want to understand why a result happened, that is the part we are aiming at.
